About Us

Our Mission

Wildflower Ranch and Rescue is a 501(c)(3) animal sanctuary based in Edgewood, New Mexico. We are committed to saving cats, dogs, and all animals in between. By providing shelter, education, nutrition, medical care, and love, Wildflower Ranch’s goal is to give animals a loving home.

Stephanie and Savannah are mother and daughter, and have had a lifelong dream of having and running an animal rescue together. Many of their animals were rescued on the day they were going to be put down, as overcapacity is an incredible issue facing shelters today. There is an overwhelming number of animals in need, and many are stuck suffering in shelters or are homeless due to breeding, and human neglect. It is a goal of the rescue to educate and inform people on the importance of spaying and neutering your animals, and adopting and not shopping.

Stephanie Strangis (President)

Stephanie Strangis is a former real estate agent, who left the business to pursue her dreams of starting an animal rescue. Before she started this rescue, she and her daughter would constantly find themselves in situations where an animal was in need, and they knew it was their calling. She’s always been saving animals, now it's just official!

Savannah Strangis (Vice President)

Savannah Strangis is a former entertainment employee, who realized that working with animals was a lot more appealing than working with humans in Hollywood. Founding Wildflower Ranch and Rescue with her mom has fulfilled a lifelong dream.

Michael Deen (Director)

Michael Deen is a former warehouse management employee, and is also an established artist. You can see his work on display in Madrid at Carnaval Aztlan. He is currently the donkey’s favorite person, as he always has carrots on hand.
